Statement:

The history of America's intervention in Iraq since 2003 is well known amongst most American citizens. However, it wasn't until recently that the attitude of American media surrounding this topic began to shift. This piece wants to bring a lens to this story and deepen its complexity. To create a new narrative that both sharpens what is blurry and yet blurs the boundaries between fiction and nonfiction.
