Statement:

As early as kindergarten, humans start to learn to conceal their emotions. Our society thrives on this skill, as we require a certain air of mystery in order to properly communicate. However,  if humans mask their emotions too much this can cause issues as they may have a hard time being vulnerable in the future and hence have a hard time engaging in intimate relationships.
